I grew up in a small southwestern Minnesota community and graduated from Saint Cloud State University with a B.S. degree in Accounting. After a short exposure to both audit and tax with Deloitte & Touche (formerly Touche Ross), I discovered that I enjoyed working with the people in the profession but in a way that helped to advance their careers and find the right position and company for them.
I have worked with both national and local finance and accounting placement firms and have enjoyed establishing a deep network with people key to these communities throughout my career. Most recently, I put my recruiting skills to work for SUPERVALU, INC. in the role of a Talent Acquisition Account Manager. When the opportunity arose to join the Certes Financial Pros team, I knew that this was the place that I wanted to be and this was the group of people that I wanted to work with.

I live with my husband in Eden Prairie. After "surviving" the raising of five children in a blended family, we now enjoy participating in their many activities and interests (from bands to marathons to softball fields and theater), as well as attempting to improve our golf game in the summer and snowmobiling with friends in the winter. We love music and enjoy spending time with a wonderful group of good friends. I have also been blessed with having the chance to spend time with my elderly parents who have been such an inspiration to me, both early in my life and as I grow old.

Years ago my favorite saying was, "What goes around, comes around." The older I get, the more I know this to be true. This agrees with Certes Financial Pros' Golden Rule philosophy, "Treat people as you would want to be treated. Works in business too." Certes' adherence to this belief makes it a great place to work and an excellent resource for accounting and finance professionals. |
