I grew up in the Twin Cities and received a B.A. degree in Business from the University of Wisconsin (Eau Claire). I spent my junior year on a National Student Exchange Program at New Mexico State University and loved it! After graduation, and prior to joining Certes, I held various accounting positions at both small and large corporations, including Honeywell and Best Buy. After the birth of my first daughter in 1996, Karen Oman wooed me away from Corporate America and I began my "balanced life" at Certes.

I work three to four days a week and spend my non-working time with family (two daughters, one husband, and one very spoiled dog). I enjoy inline skating, family time at the cabin, volunteering at school, and hanging out with friends and neighbors. I am also a huge Vikings fan.

I believe in taking some time each day to relax and to remember what (and who) is truly important in my life. I also love the saying: Don't let yesterday use up today! |
